SettleCore™ is the Power Settlements software offering.  The SettleCore application, for the CAISO market, is comprised of the following application modules, which can be fully integrated together or can be licensed independently of one another.

1. Settlements Analyzer – This module is used by CAISO scheduling coordinators as the premier application for hands-on MRTU settlement training. This application not only shows scheduling coordinators the charge code formulas from the CAISO’s Settlement BPM configuration guides, but also allows the users to select actual data from their MRTU settlement files, right-click, and the Settlements Analyzer inserts the user-selected settlement data directly into the charge code formula – allowing the user to see exactly how the CAISO calculates each step of the charge code amount that appears on their settlement files. In addition to MRTU settlement training, the Settlements Analyzer allows scheduling coordinators to load all of their MRTU settlement statements (BA Settlement files, BA Billing Determinant files, and CAISO Billing Determinant files), drill-down from their charge code amounts into the billing determinants which are used to calculate the settlements statement amounts, use pivot table functionality within the application to further analyze the settlements data, and to export their settlement data to spreadsheets for additional analysis.
   
   
2. ISO Downloader – This module is used by scheduling coordinators to automate the download of all their CAISO data and to act as a database repository of all CAISO data.  This module includes automated API downloads from: ADS, BAPI/SaMC, CMRI, Master File (when available from CAISO), OASIS, OMAR, SIBR, and SLIC.  With this module, the users are able to view the data in the application as well as export the data to spreadsheets.  Included with this module is the time triggered and event driven batch download functionality.
   
   
3. Shadow Settlements and Dispute Management – This module is used by scheduling coordinators to perform CAISO shadow settlements. This module uses the data supplied by the ISO Downloader module to shadow calculate the charge type amounts the day after the flow date.  When the SaMC statements are imported at a later date, the module flags all shadow settlement records, which do not match the SaMC statement amounts, and flags them for dispute.  The users are then able to select the flagged records, which the module will use to auto-generate a spreadsheet with the dispute details, which the analyst can use as a supporting attachment when submitting disputes to the CAISO.  The application can also be used to load all CAISO dispute responses and to report on the disputed and awarded dispute amounts that the settlement analyst submitted.
