Power Settlements is a consulting and software company that specializes in assisting energy companies with validating and automating all of their ISO and bilateral settlement processes.
Settlement analysts perform a very data intensive process that involves the settlement of potentially billions of dollars for their company. Industry-wide, settlements is a largely manual process performed in spreadsheets.
Our SettleCore™ software is used to put an application framework around the settlement process in order to instill automation, process controls, validations, traceability, and auditability into the settlement process. We believe that with the right software in place, settlement analysts will not need to spend their time calculating settlements, but rather will have significantly more time to focus on data analysis, alerting the traders to the results of the after-the-fact settlement of their trades, and finding and filing more disputable transactions – all of which impact the company’s bottom line.

9-16-2008 The Free Trial Offer of the SettleCore – Settlements Analyzer Now Includes the SIBR Upload Template
Power Settlements announces, that in addition to the existing SaMC functionality, the free trial version of the SettleCore –
Settlements Analyzer now includes a process to semi-automate the SIBR upload process. This functionality will enable
scheduling coordinators to enter their bids, self-schedules, and ISTs into a spreadsheet, which can be imported into the
Settlements Analyzer. The Settlements Analyzer will then convert the data into XML files, which the users can upload to
SIBR via the Advanced Submit process. This new functionality in the Settlements Analyzer will enable scheduling
coordinators to save a significant amount of time from otherwise manually entering all of their self-schedules, bids, and
ISTs directly into SIBR.

9-08-2008 Use of the Free Trial Version of the SettleCore – Settlements Analyzer will be Extended through the
Completion of the MRTU Market Simulation
Power Settlements announces that the use of the free trial offer of the SettleCore – Settlements Analyzer will be extended
through the end of the MRTU market simulations. Now all CAISO scheduling coordinators will be able to use the trial
version of the Settlements Analyzer through 1-31-2009, for free. The Settlements Analyzer provides the functionality
for scheduling coordinators to view the MRTU charge code calculations, to import and view their SaMC statement files
and billing determinant files, and to export their SaMC files to workbooks for further analysis. |

trial version of the Settlements Analyzer, which is available to all CAISO scheduling coordinators, assists market participants
with in-depth MRTU settlements charge code training, reviewing and analyzing MRTU market settlement files, and exporting

The month of March marks the beta testing phase of the SettleCore – Settlements Analyzer. The first beta client has installed
the Settlements Analyzer for beta testing. Two other companies have agreed to perform beta testing as well. After beta testing
is completed, our website will be updated to reflect the instructions for all registered CAISO scheduling coordinators to sign up
